"Like arrows in the hand of a warrior are sons born in one's youth. Blessed is the man whose quiver is full of them." Psalm 127:4

We are convinced that one of the most crucial roles in anyone's life is the role they have with their father. Because oftentimes, that relationship shapes how a person's view of their Heavenly Father is formed. While we will always fail in that being a perfect picture, we must strive to intentionally pursue fathering our children with that focus in mind. Below are great resources to help do that.

  • Intentional Family Podcast – Author's Jefferson Bethke and Jon Tyson collaborated to create a podcast about both of their books: Intentional Father and Take Back your Family

  • “Intentional Father” – Self-initiation is killing our young men. Without strong mentors, boys are walking alone into a wilderness of conflicting messages about who they should be as men. It's no wonder that our sons are confused about what the world expects from them and what they should expect of themselves. Check out Intentional Father By Jon Tyson

  • “Take Back Your Family” – When Jefferson Bethke and his wife, Alyssa, were wrestling with how to create a healthy Christian family, they dug deep into what the Bible says about having a purpose-oriented family that follows after God. They began to live out what they learned—and their family flourished. Then they began sharing their discovery with families across the country, and others joined in, opting out of our Western concept of family and embracing God’s beautiful, radical design to be multi-generational teams on mission.

  • Tiny Theologians -  We are HUGE fans of Tiny Theologians ABC cards and have been using the advent cards every day counting down to Christmas. It has been a great way to help Taylor’s kids focus on the true meaning of Christmas. The cards are not watered down at all, but are structured in a way that get the kids thinking and can be adaptable to age range. They are great!
