"Rejoice in hope, be patient in tribulation, be constant in prayer."

Romans 12:12

What up.

The biggest thing that I have been learning and has been impressed upon my heart is the importance of patience.

In every situation, we need to yield to prayer and be patient on the Lord’s timing. There are no such thing as quick fixes.

The image that has been coming to mind is that of a garden. Both in short and long-term results. When you plant seeds, you can’t spray some magical spray or snap your fingers and have a bountiful harvest. You must diligently, consistently, patiently, be steadfast in tending to the garden. Providing water, good soil, etc. and the results will come.

Then in the long term, you can’t have a garden that has good, rich soil that has been producing and composting for 20 years, without the 20 years. And that soil will beat out just buying a bag of soil from Lowes every day of the week.

The point I am trying to make is we need to not just look for quick solves or get rich quick schemes.

We need to trust the Lord and be steadfast in trusting in His unchanging promises.
